A collection of 32
magazines based on ITV’s action thriller series starring Patrick
McGoohan as secret agent John Drake. Ahead of the first James Bond
film by two years, Danger Man initiated the 1960s craze for
all things spy, with international locations, glamorous women and a
globe-trotting central character.
Together with Jaz Wiseman,
I was a consultant editor on the project. I fact checked each issue,
as well as writing episode reviews and other features, for strands
such as ‘The Transport’, ‘The Characters’ and ‘The Outside World’.
The Danger Man Collection followed on directly after The
Prisoner: The Official Fact File completed its run.
